This is my story
I am VR., a mother, wife, coffee and book lover, and a hardened perfectionist. At the age of 16, I decided to leave home to study abroad, and live the American Sporting dream, growing as a person and as an athlete. I graduated in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, and became a Triathlon and Swimming National coach.
From here I have worked in various areas of Sport: as a coach, nutritionist, physical trainer and later as a teacher and coordinator of the sports department of an international educational center, teaching classes in Physiology, Nutrition, Training, Sports Psychology, as well as managing the entire sports area.
Once upon a time, my life was moving too fast. I was running my time on autopilot, until I hit rock bottom. My body and mind told me “enough!” Stress was taking its toll, I was suffering from intestinal problems, and a back injury was robbing me of my independence. My routine was drowning me, and the excuse was always the same: “I don’t have time.”
Life hit me hard: I almost lost my mother to a heart problem, I lost my father to cancer in less than six months, and the pandemic forced me to stop and reflect. I realized that I was driving a car without brakes, leaving my health and my dreams on the way. That's when I understood something: no one was going to save me. My life was in my hands.
And even though I had been a triathlete and understood training as long work sessions, I decided to go back to basics. If I didn't have time to dedicate an hour a day, then I had to dedicate at least 10 minutes. And those 10 minutes changed everything. I started training a little every day, nourishing myself with new information, changing the way I ate, and thus I began to heal from the inside out. Over time, those 10 minutes became my refuge, my engine, and the foundation for building a new path.
I transformed my diet towards real, anti-inflammatory foods. I swapped refined carbs for animal proteins and natural carbs. I swapped low-fat products for fats, and I swapped breakfasts for fasts. My energy returned, my hormonal health improved, and my mind became clearer. I went from being a woman on the verge of collapse to becoming a strong, confident, and finally free woman.
Today, I work 100% on my professional project, helping people like you discover that you don't need big changes to get started. I have a podcast where I interview professionals in Health, Sports, Nutrition and Personal Development , and I learn from them. You only need a small daily commitment: 10 minutes that make a difference.
This is my story, but now I want you to write yours. Because when you decide to work on yourself, you not only improve your life, but also the lives of those around you. So tell me, are you ready to start with those 10 minutes a day that can change everything?
